As the newest on board at JSI, I have had a wonderful experience with my fellow executive board members that I know deeply value the work we do and all that each of us can bring to the table. I have held previous positions with organizations like The Borgen Project, the UF International Center, the Women’s Foreign Policy Group, and Peaceful Paths. I am a certified grant writer and grant proposal writer; along with my background in humanitarian aid and research in systematic inequalities and sustainable economics, I have been able to apply my experiences to my role within this organization. My current research comprises a digital ethnography on post-crises nations (i.e. Haiti, Rwanda, parts of Nigeria, Syria, and soon Ethiopia).
